Mission and Vision

Mission Statement: The mission of the Ladue Libraries is to support the district curriculum, promote reading, and offer abundant opportunities for students and staff to become effective users of ideas and information.
Vision Statement: Ladue libraries will serve our diverse communities through: - Quality collections - State of the art technology - Optimum Access - Highly trained professional staff.

Procedures

  • You may come to the library with an eHallpass from your teacher or with your teacher any time we are open. You must check in with one of the librarians upon arrival.
  • Two book drops are located in the library to make it easy and convenient to return a book between classes. One is at the circulation desk, the other is in the counter at the back of the library.
  • Students may borrow up to 5 books at a time.
  • The checkout period is two weeks.
  • You may renew your books as often as you like, as long as no one has the book on hold. Please do not keep renewing books you are not planning to read for a while so other students have the option to borrow them. You can always check them out again later!
  • More books are available via Sora!
  • There is no fine for overdue books, however, if you lose or damage a book, you will need to either pay to replace it or bring in a new copy of the item you lost.
Always:
  • Check in at the circulation desk if you are without a teacher.
  • Ask for help - if you can't find it, ask for it!
